This house is a few meters from the town of Santillana del Mar declared several times as the most beautiful town in Spain. For this reason it should be visited, but it also has the reproduction of the Caves of Altamira that are worth visiting. There is also the zoo of Santillana highly recommended for children.

A few kilometres away is the Nature Park of Cabárceno and in the direction of Asturias but within Cantabria the Caves of Soplao with wonderful geological formations and that is fully prepared to be visited.

Not far from the house we have some beaches and golf courses and less than 40 minutes to the Picos de Europa which is reached through the gorge of La Hermida. It passes through Potes to get to Fuente Dé where we can take the cable car that will lift us to more than 800 mtrs to contemplate a landscape that we can not forget.

Santander capital is about 20 minutes from the house and is a dignified city that should be visited. The northern gastronomy encloses in its many restaurants, terraces and snackbars many samples of the richness of this aspect that attracts so many visitors.
