The collection of lodgings where the country house Carmen 5 is located, is not far from the village of Ribadesella. But if the visitor prefers to get lost in the surroundings, there is much to choose and enjoy!

The locality is spattered with calm villages, some of them settled on the banks of the river Sella, vast areas of pasture land dedicated to agriculture, unexpected cliffs with unbelievable hidden beaches among them, which will delight both lovers of fishing and seekers of hidden landscapes.

Gastronomy is another of the many attractions that the area offers, man does not only live from nature, and in many of these villages we find hidden restaurants of acknowledged fame where you can taste dishes reinvented a thousand times on a single denominator, the sea and its products.

Atractivos del entorno:
The location of this house allows to know very well the oriental region of Asturias in few minutes of car and excursions of half a day. The northern entrances to Picos de Europa (Covadonga and Arenas de Cabrales) are less than 30 minutes from the house. Also being in Covadonga can visit the lakes of Covadonga going up a winding road and narrow for 11 km. although the reward of the visual spectacle well deserves it.
In full day excursions there are many more possibilities, Beaches of San Vicente de la Barquera, Cuevas del Soplao, Potes and Fuente Dé, Santailla del Mar, Comillas and even Santander (in Cantabria), and The Jurassic Museum in Colunga, Gijón and Oviedo, Llanes, Gulpiyuri Beach in Naves, village of Cuevas in Ribadesella, Mirador del Fito (in Asturias). And hurrying the day much, Las Catedrales Beach in the east of Lugo or Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao.
