Only two kilometers from the apartment is the beach of Cuevas del Mar, recommended to go with children for its cove shape, nothing open to the sea. Near the house is also the famous beach of Gulpiyuri in the town of Naves about 7 km. And the village of Cuevas about 4 km from Ribadesella that will reward you with an unexpected surprise when you get close to it.
A little further away is the town of Cangas de Onis from where you can access Covadonga and Los Lagos.
Ribadesella is a perfect place to stroll along any of its two long beaches, the urban one of Santa Marina and the semi-wild one of Vega in the village of Vega about 7 km towards the west.
Not far away is the Jurassic Museum of Asturias very focused for children to enjoy the visit and taking advantage should visit the fishing villages of Lastres and Bowls and taste a good fish or seafood in one of its restaurants in the port.
